Head Gardener David Retires.

David joined the C.A.R. Gardens team in early 2011 and brought with him a long career in horticulture. David spent many years working for Guildford Borough Council and Sutherland Memorial Park which gained accolades under his leadership. Before joining C.A.R. Gardens David worked 4 years with another landscaping company on the Isle of Wight.

And then 14 years with us at C.A.R. Gardens, we are extremely fortunate to have enjoyed his company and all that he brought to the business.

And so, we will miss him dearly, and wish him well on his journey.

Thank you David, you have been much more than just ‘Head Gardener’ to me, your collegues, customers and gardens. Your good humour, willingness to listen, availibility to support, ability to train and friendship to many is precious and rare. We will miss you.

Craig Ratcliff | Company Proprietor

Over the last few years David and Judith have worked closley with Ben who has now been promoted to Head Gardener. The gardens David leaves are in very good hands as Ben picks up the mantle!

I consider myself fortunate to have spent the majority of my life engaged in all aspects of horticulture and turf culture; working in harmony with the seasons and the living landscape.
